We knew somebody who told us about Ron and Eden Builders and then read some good things on Yelp. We called Ron and he came over and we talked about what we were thinking about doing in our house. The first thing about Ron that comes across right away is that he’s just a really nice guy. We liked him right away, so, we decided to do a small job first, new cabinets and a re-tile of our bathroom floor. If we liked how that went, then maybe we’d do a major re-model that we were thinking about, and add on a master bedroom and bath. Well, it went very well and the bathroom looked great (Ron’s cabinet guys are fantastic). But it was Ron’s attitude when things were not quite right or if we had a problem, that’s when Ron is most impressive. If you’re not happy about something, there are no questions asked, it just gets taken care of. Ron makes sure that the costumer is satisfied and he checks in everyday to make sure that you are. He is always available to talk and you never get attitude or arguments or excuses.So, we decided to do the big remodel, a from the ground up addition, to match the look and style of the existing structure. Ron drew up some plans and we went back and forth with ideas. Ron brought in his architect Sean, and he quickly drew up the details. Ron gave us his bid which seemed very fair and we went for it.Everything was done to code and Eden builders handled getting all the permits and did all the business of dealing with the city. We never had to get involved with any of that.Ron said the job would take 3 1/2 to 4 months and that’s exactly how long it took. He knows the best places to buy the materials that we needed, the tile and marble and the hardwood floors and Ron went with us and helped us choose the best stuff at the best prices. Ron’s crews were always here when they were supposed to be here and all the guys were friendly, professional and experienced. We got to like everybody who worked here and now that’s it’s done, I’m kind of missing not having the guys around anymore. Luis is Ron’s main guy, the foreman on the job. Just completed the remodel of my West Hollywood Condo – and Ron and Eden Builders were the reason I survived. Let’s be honest, remodels are tough experiences. And I didn’t have a lot of experience in the area. But Ron was truly my saving grace and the reason why I now love my new kitchen, amazing shower, new hardwood floors, berber carpet and beautiful paint job. Basically I’ve got a completely new unit.We triple bid the project and Ron had the second to lowest bid. We discussed and he was able to share with me why his bid was where it was. I liked him immediately and felt he was trustworthy — and was not disappointed : )Ron was not only patient and detail oriented, but conscientious about the schedule and costs. A few things slipped and took longer than anticipated, but he owned it and was proactive about the new schedule. He was over-accommodating when I wanted to add new toilets (arranging to get them for me) and helped make design decisions – regarding the subway tile (which looks amazing!) and caesarstone counters. His crew was hardworking and truly nice people – they were working in and out of my place for almost two months and most of the time I wasn’t there. They always left the place as clean as it possibly could be. My HOA has crazy tough regulations for any contractor working in our building – Ron had all the right paperwork and his crew adhered to every rule. Thankfully, as my neighbors watch like hawks.Simply put, Ron is gem. An honest contractor and a great human being. He is generous to a fault and extremely communicative via text, email and phone. I’m definitely a high maintenance customer and Ron earned every penny on this job. I’ve only Yelped about 3-4 things, and Eden Builders and Ron was worth taking the time. I have already recommended him to two friends, which for me says a lot because the last thing I’d want is to have a friend be pissed about something so big. If you want quality work for a great price – call Ron. Sounds cliche but it’s true.

I recently had most of my condo remodeled. Kitchen, bathrooms, built-in bookshelves, carpet, and painting. Eden Builders came with the lowest bid, and so I hired them. The result was a beautiful and well-done remodel. The work was good and Ron was easy to contact. If I had questions or comments, I could email, text or call him and he would respond within the day. All of his guys were professional and friendly.
There were some existing plumbing problems that he ran into, however he and his plumber were able to work with the property and fix the problems. Ron was also able to get all the materials that I had selected (tiles, cabinets, granite countertops, carpet), and the materials are very good quality. I did have to supply my own fixtures, which was fine because that allowed me to get what I wanted at the best prices I could find. His guys did an excellent job installing all the fixtures. I am happy I hired him.

In each step of the job from laying the foundation to doing the stucco, from putting in the hardwood floors to the final paint job, guys were brought in who are experts in each phase of the project.
Every city inspection was passed and we are thrilled with the final outcome.Ron was always available and when we had questions or problems (and there will always be something on projects this big) Ron made sure that our concerns were addressed and that we were happy.

Mike T. Studio City – We highly recommend Ron Littman, and Eden Builders Construction for your upcoming kitchen remodel. When we first purchased our house, our home project list was vast and long, and in that someday pile was that complete kitchen overhaul.
Well five years later, after countless magazine readings and home improvement shows, the idea turned into a plan, and the time came to select a general contractor to execute it.
After interviewing several highly reviewed contractors (both on Yelp and A*list), we chose Ron Littman based on his remodeling experience (our project involved removing a structural wall), his professionalism, and his easy-going demeanor. In addition, we chose him for all the things he was not, not pushy, not a high pressure salesman, and not a “cut me a check and I’ll be done in 4 weeks” kind of guy. Having now finished our project, I can say that who you meet and what he promises on the first day, is the same person you will be interacting with during the project and who will deliver as-promised in the end.
Here are a few more criteria that were important to us, in evaluating our contractor, and selecting someone to work in our home for the weeks and months to come.
1. Timeliness. Will the project start on time? (e.g. I just gave a deposit, will my contractor show up?) Will the project come in on schedule? Will the project ever be finished? Yes, yes and yes. Ron gave us a schedule at the beginning of the project, started on the day we scheduled, at the time we scheduled, and kept on schedule, and finished within our timeframe. Ron did a great job of delivering our project within its six to eight week timeframe.
2. Communication. No matter how much planning you do upfront, there are infinite possibilities and decisions to be made during the process. We couldn’t be home for all of it, and relied on being able to phone, email, text and picture message with Ron. He was always great about quickly acknowledging our communication and responding to any concerns/thoughts/issues that came up during the project.
3. Budget. It’s worth repeating, that Ron delivers a high quality product as-promised and on-budget. This is really where, I believe, your contractor’s experience comes in. He was able to work with our existing floors (and match them perfectly to new wood floors), demo the necessary walls to open up the space, but retain existing walls which kept us on budget. We were very pleased with the results.
What I think all the above issues boil down to is trust, and will you be able to trust your general contractor with your home. I hope this review helps you in choosing Ron, because if we had to do it all over again, I know we would.
John R. Woodland Hills – Ron came out the morning after I called and did a free estimate and I got a very good vibe from him immediately. Turns out my instincts were good. Eden finished the work in less time than they said and came cheaper than the estimate. Ron was super friendly and responsive. I really liked the fact that when I called the company he’s the one who picks up the phone. His guys were fantastic. Very polite and hard working and they did a meticulous job tenting and taping everything so there was no dust anywhere. I will absolutely use them again and I can’t recommend them enough.

While other contractors were aggressive, know-it-all types who did not give me estimates in a timely manner, Ron was punctual, polite, and listened to what I wanted.
