White & Grey Kitchen Remodel Thousand Oaks

This Thousand Oaks kitchen remodel by Eden Builders creates an open gathering space around a contrasting island. White perimeter cabinets, a farmhouse sink and a tiled backsplash keep the room bright, while the darker island adds definition. Tall windows, a sloped ceiling and views toward the patio reinforce the kitchen's spacious feel.

The project, at a glance

Project goal

Connect the kitchen and living room into an open layout, with generous work surfaces, accessible storage and an island that supports both preparation and gathering.

Work completed

The project opened the kitchen to the living room and added custom Shaker-style cabinetry, an island, a farmhouse sink, new appliances, counters and a subway tile backsplash.

The result

The finished kitchen offers a clear central gathering point and long working counters. White cabinets and the darker island create contrast without interrupting the open room.
